Direct Thermal vs Thermal Transfer Labels

Thermal printing can be found in every corner of the supply chain. It’s popular for its easy use, speed, and efficiency. But do you know the difference between the technologies? When it comes to direct thermal and thermal transfer, knowing the pros and cons of each can help you determine which you will need to print your labels.

They stack easily, offer a faster clean up, & supply more labels per stack than rolls. If you’re looking for an alternative labeling option, fanfold might be the right choice for your business.

Determining the Correct Thermal Ribbon

Thermal ribbon is a crucial part of printing with thermal transfer labels. But not all thermal ribbons are made the same. There are different materials and ink configuration to consider when choosing which is the best option for your desktop or industrial printer. Do you know which one you need for your technology?
