This type of label comes in a stack. It can be loaded into the back of your desktop (1" core) or industrial (3" core) printer. Many people prefer fanfold labels due to their versatility and their "self stacking" nature when printed in batches.
Perforated labels are typically applied by hand.
Perforation refers to the row of small holes on the liner in between each label that make tearing easier.

All Inkjet Labels
Inkjet labels are specially designed to absorb ink in liquid form. During printing, droplets are propelled onto the label material where they rapidly dry. Inkjet is used to print colorful texts and images in high quality and high resolution with customizable options for many different applications.
Dye or pigment-based inks can be used when printing on inkjet labels and should be determined based on your application process. Most printer models are only able to accommodate one type of ink. Some models like the Primera LX-910, are able to accommodate both types of ink.
Dye-based inks are less expensive and produce more vibrant colors. The ink absorbs into the fiber of the label material. Printers like the Canon LX-D5500 make ideal prime labels for many consumer and retail goods where eye-catching designs and colors are prevalent. These colorful labels are also being utilized in the cannabis industry for cannabis-infused and CBD products.
Pigment-based inks are more resilient when printing inkjet labels. The ink sits on the surface of the material and fuses with the fibers for a more durable print. Printer models like the Primera LX-2000 combine pigment-based inks with synthetic materials to produce GHS and BS5609 compliance labels.
Inkjet printing supports roll and fanfold labels, as well as tags. Roll labels must have an inner core diameter of 2" or 3." Perforated or continuous labels can be used in addition to labels with a black sensing mark. Matte and glossy finishes offer inkjet labels an additional muted or reflective look.
