1. Printer Technology
Thermal Transfer (Requires Ribbon)

Thermal Transfer means the label material requires a ribbon to print. As the label and ribbon pass through the print head, the heat from the print head transfers the ink from the ribbon directly onto the label.

Direct Thermal (Does Not Require Ribbon)

Direct Thermal means that ink is already embedded within the label material. Heat from the print head causes a chemical reaction that brings the ink to the surface as it prints. No ribbons are needed with direct thermal.

General Purpose

General purpose is designed for a one-time application. Once they have been applied, they should not be removed as they will tear.

No in stock adhesives are available for your current configuration.

Made to Order Adhesives
These adhesives are made to order and would require a 15 box minimum. There will be a 4-6 week lead time on these adhesives.

Removable

Removable creates a temporary bond with the application area. It can be separated from the surface with minimal adhesive residue left behind. The longer it remains on a surface, the harder it is to remove.

Freezer Grade

Freezer grade is designed for temperature environments below 32°F, including sub zero. They have a very high initial tack and can be applied at -15°F.

Acrylic

Acrylic adhesives work well on a wide range of surfaces. If you have a very waxy corrugated box this adhesive might be right for you. While acrylic adhesives are effective they are much more expensive than our standard "General Purpose" adhesive.

White

This is our standard label stock material. It is a great selection for almost all labeling projects. The matte paper will have excellent print quality.
Top Coated

Need a more durable paper label? This material is the right choice to help prevent markings or scuffing that happens during transit.
Blockout

These are the go-to choice for covering up any obsolete information or previously used labels or barcodes. Designed with a black underside, these thermal transfer labels mute out any visible images, text, or colors they are placed over.

If you are looking for a durable, long-term synthetic label, polypropylene is the way to go. These tear-resistant and water-resistant labels are capable of withstanding the elements much better than their paper counterparts, as well as oil and harsh chemicals.

Overview

This 4" x 6" White Direct Thermal label is fanfolded. There are 4000 labels per box.

These labels are also perforated for easy tearing and hand application. Perforation refers to a row of small holes punched into the liner in between each label.

Fanfold labels are compatible with both desktop and industrial printers. For bulk printing, they re-stack themselves by folding on the perforation, which helps labels remain organized in one place. Fanfold supports more labels per stack than both 1" and 3" core rolls, which lessens the amount of time spent reloading your printer and saves on supply costs.

As these are direct thermal labels, they do not require a ribbon to print. The ink is already embedded within the label material, which appears when heat from the print head causes a chemical reaction.

White is our standard label stock material. It is a great selection for almost all labeling projects and has an excellent print quality.

Additionally, the adhesive for this label is a permanent general purpose adhesive. This particular adhesive is formulated for a one-time application that creates a permanent bond between the label and the surface it is applied to. We recommend that these labels are applied in a dry environment. The minimum application temperature is 35 degrees. The service temperature of the label once applied ranges from 5 to 120 degrees. This adhesive is perfect for application to corrugated cardboard, poly bags, plastic totes, plywood, shrink-wrap, and more.
