Alternatively, if you have a FedEx account, you are welcome to use your account and ship collect with that carrier. Either way, we always recommend our customers increase their order quantity high enough to qualify for LTL shipping as that is the cheapest option on a per case basis.
LTL Shipping
Orders of this quantity will generally ship LTL.
The only requirement is that your order will need a dock for the pallet to be unloaded onto. If you do not have a dock, please let us know at checkout so we can arrange special delivery. We always recommend customers choose LTL as it is the cheapest and safest way for your labels to be shipped.

Epson ColorWorks OT-PT40 Label Exit Tray
The genuine Epson OT-PT40 label exit tray is made for the ColorWorks CW-C4000 and CW-D3800. The tray attaches to the front of your printer and catches labels as they print, so they stay neat and organized instead of falling onto your desk or the floor.
The tray works best for cut labels and badges, keeping finished labels together and ready to grab. It holds labels from 3" W x 2.1" L up to 4.13" W x 5.8" L.
The OT-PT40 works in both the C4000 and D3800, including both the matte and gloss versions of the C4000, so if you run both models, one accessory fits both.

The label exit tray catches labels as they come out of your printer, keeping them together and organized instead of letting them fall.
Which printers does the OT-PT40 work with?
The OT-PT40 works with the C4000 and D3800, including both the matte and gloss versions of the C4000.
What label sizes does the tray hold?
The tray holds labels from 3" W x 2.1" L up to 4.13" W x 5.8" L. Labels smaller or larger than this may not stay in the tray.
Do I need the label exit tray to use my printer?
No. Your printer works without it. The tray is an optional accessory that makes handling cut labels and badges easier.

Can I return the label exit tray?
Yes. Unused accessories in their original, unopened packaging can be returned. An RMA number is required for all returns. See the Returns tab for details.
Printer Accessories Return Policy
- Unused accessories in their original, unopened packaging may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.
- A Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns. To request one, contact us at 800-875-7000 or support@smithcorona.com.
- An RMA number is valid for 30 days from the date it is created.
- The RMA number must be visible on all returns. Do not write on the original product box.
- Opened, installed, or used accessories, including maintenance boxes, do not qualify for return.
- Products that are discontinued or obsolete from the manufacturer do not qualify for return.
- Returned accessories will be sent back to the customer if:
- The packaging has been opened or the factory seal is broken.
- The return is received more than 30 days after the purchase date.
- The product is returned missing any components sent with the original order.
- The condition of the returned product is misrepresented in any way.
- The product or its packaging is damaged in any way.
- The RMA number is missing, invalid, or expired.
Packaging Requirements
- The original manufacturer’s packaging must be unopened, clean, and undamaged, with no marks of any kind, including writing, stamps, or shipping labels.
- Returns must include all manuals, cables, hardware, and other components exactly as received.
- All returns must be double-boxed.
- For customers on credit terms, credit will be applied to your account once the returned product is received.
Defective Accessories
- Defective accessories are handled according to the manufacturer’s warranty and return policies.
Additional Information
- Misships must be claimed within 15 days of the invoice date.
- The customer is responsible for the condition of returned items.
- The customer is responsible for any costs incurred due to misrepresentation of a product’s condition.
