I know you\u2019re supposed to take time at the end of the year to reflect on everything that happened. The good, the bad, what have you. But for the labeling industry, 2022 was in a league of its own.<\/span><\/p>\n

Anything that could go wrong, did go wrong. And in spectacular fashion, too (Yes, Murphy\u2019s Law was a reality, ask anyone dealing with paper).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

There were many occurrences this year that garnered headlines and made stomachs roll with unease. But if I had to boil down 2022 to one disastrous theme, it would be <\/span>material shortages<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The dismal availability of key raw materials left paper mills scrambling just to get by (and unfortunately, not all of them did).<\/span><\/p>\n
